My Background: Web
designing has become a hobby of mine. I originally started out as a computer graphics
design artist. I had been using computers since age 10 and had become very proficient
at art, layout, and graphic design. When the internet came along I simply adapted.
I started out a year after the internet became mainstream. I learned to code HTML,
hyper text markup language, on my own through various books. I thoroughly enjoyed
creating web pages and designs from early on. I read any and everything that has
to do with HTML and Java. I keep up to date on the latest technology and hope
to become an expert in the field of HTML and DHTML, or dynamic HTML; the wave
of the future. Eventually I got a job at NTC Computers in
the repair and sales department. I was later promoted to Information Technology
Supervisor. Who says a self taught computer geek can't get a job? My
background is as follows: I was a columnist at The Colegian, the University of
Toledo's Student Newspaper for more than three years. I also have experience as
an Editor of various local newsletters. I have also done layouts and graphic designs
for a few newsletters. I was also a photographer for The Collegian for a short
time. Heck, I even worked in the advertising department graphically designing
advertisements. I have created many pages, codes, and special
applications. If you would like me to help you out or give you a free estimate,
please let me know. I normally appraise each project individually, but can charge
by the hour for smaller projects. Below is a list of some pages I have created
from scratch, not simply improved. These are not all the sites that I have developed,
but it is a nice sampling of different styles. Take a look and let me know how
you feel.
